Comment: I watched the film last year out of curiosity, it's very faithful to the book although it's missing a few parts, while the Disney version is a watered down version of the tale it does serve it's purpose and it is one my favorite Disney movies of all time.

Comment: Upon second viewing, I still like this review mucho. I gotta ask though. Does this version keep the scene where Pinnocchio gets eaten by a pack of carnivorous fish? Also, I believe you forgot to mention the more recent Roberto Benigni adaptation, but I'm guessing there was a good reason for that.
