Put on your circus afros, because AniMat is going into the 3rd installment of Madagascar. Hopefully, it will be better than DreamWorks’ last third film of the franchise.

Comment: This film was good. A lot better that DreamWorks' last 3rd film in the franchise (Shrek the Third). I've only seen a little bit of that movie, and I don't freaken care for it. Ah well, you can't expect perfection the first time around, can you? Either way, it was a good flick in my opinion and I can watch that "Firework" scene over and over again.

Comment: To be honest the "Madagascar" films mean nothing to me. I didn't hate them, in fact I feel that my time wasn't wasted. It's just the first film was just there for me. The sequels have elements that improve on the series while there were flaws that would keep them from surpassing the original. Now I'd say this film has the best and the worst of the series. It has some of the worst humor, 3D effect overload and the weakest composition. However it also had some of the best humor, the best side characters, and the best animation. I will say the ending was just brilliant. I was no longer annoyed with characters I found annoying and the finally with Katy Perry's 'Fireworks, I could watch that thing forever. So I'm glad this series ended as strong as it did and I hope Fox respects DreamWorks's wishes in only making another film if they want to, the way they handled the "Ice Age" films doesn't give me much hope.

Comment: This is not the best film of the franchise, but it is the best film of 2012. The Madagascar franchise is always awesome, just some entries more than others. The worst (but still good) entry is the Penguins TV show (do you like it?) Also, my dad really liked Chantel Shannon DuBois, to the point of her being his favorite DreamWorks villainess.

Comment: I liked this film. I saw an advertisement after I watched the movie that said it was the #1 animated movie in the world of this year or something like that. That's nuts. I wouldn't say this is the #1 animated movie. Anyway, I saw a preview for Ice Age: Continental Drift and I wanted to see it already, but after it was done with the trailer for the new Ice Age it had a little message that said there was going to be a Simpsons short with Maggie at the beginning of the movie and now I really want to see the new Ice Age movie.

Comment: Yeah 3D is the way to go with this one. This is the first movie I've seen where the 3D is good! I was jumping and giggling to the 3D all through out the movie. I saw it in 2D first and realized afterward I missed some details because this movie was made with 3D in mind.
