Comment: By the way, the scene where Blu lures Nigel into one of the plane's propellers is so funny. LOL. The scene where Nigel is shredded by one of the plane's propellers makes me laugh alot. That scene is hilarious. XD

Comment: I disagree with you giving Rio a 7, Animat, Rio is a fun movie. I never look at Rio, but I do heard about McDonald's promoting Rio toys last year. Too bad I didn't get a Rio toy at McDonald's. The villain song that was sung by Nigel is so funny. The songs are alright though. But I'm happy that the characters are singing since Rio is mostly a computer animated musical like Tangled. Oh yeah, Nigel's defeat is really funny. So I think it deserves more than 7. Good video, Animat though. P.S. Blu's owner, Linda, is so hot (yes, it's just my opinion about Linda and she is only a Rio character). :)

Comment: i love and i said LOVE every song in this movie and guess whitch is my favourite song?NIGELS SONG.just my opinion. Nice review but i think 7 out of 10 its prety low.I would give it a 9 out of 10.i loved this movie

Comment: A fair review, if I do say so. But I'm with That Fellow on this one. The cliches and stereotypes were all there in this film, but the overall tone of the film was just so energetic and engaging that it didn't matter. This is one case where I think style over substance worked for me.

Comment: I thought "Rio" was really good. Maybe a bit better than the first Ice Age movie. SPeaking of which, since I liked ALL 3 Ice Age films, I'm looking forward for the next one, but I'm getting off topic. Anyhow, "Rio" is the 1st Blue Sky production made in the widescreen aspect ratio, 2:35:1, making the film all the more wonderful. I sure hope they do it more often. I really liked the voice cast with Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez and Jemaine Clement! I give that film a Thumbs Up.

Comment: Personally, I felt the high energy of Rio made me not take any notice of any sort of formula applied to the story. I was so taken in to this universe, that I managed to get absorbed into the whole environment. As for Nigel's Song, if you've seen Jermaine Clement's television show "Flight of the Concords", that's kind of his style and since he also wrote "Pretty Bird", well...
