Comment: It really IS too bad The Spirit and Sinbad: The Legend of the Seven Seas didn't do too well. They were really good movies!
Though we can blame Mr. Eisner for that.
But I did love Shrek when I saw it. It was hilarious and had a worthy first sequel. The other two sequels...not so much...

Comment: I love Shrek, my whole family loves shrek. I've seen all of them and I loved all of them (even the third and fourth.) My parents love the scene when the song hallelujah plays because that was sung at my uncle's funeral. I love that part too however the scene that happens during the song is sad because we see that shrek, fiona and donkey are all heartbroken because shrek is mad at fiona and donkey because he thinks they betrayed them both but shrek is also sad too.

Comment: I think because of the failure of sinbad katzenberg probably realized that michael eisner really did the right thing to ditch the idea when katzenberg offered to they could make a sinbad movie while he was working for disney

Comment: why wasn't chickin shown in europe? and how can it be a european film if it wasn't shown in europe? and how could sinbad:legend of the seven seas be a BIG BOMB if it made more then it's budget? if a movie is a bomb it didn't make more then it's budget.

Comment: Using Metallica in Spirit is probably the most laughably bad idea. It's supposed to be SPirit not Death Race. ou didn't mention tha they originally wanted country singer Garth Brooks to write the songs but the deal few through so they picked Canadian rock star Bryan Adams, and he does a damn god job. Pity "Here I Am" didn't get nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars and of course Spirit lost the Best Animated Feature Oscar to Spirited Away.

Comment: OMG! I LOVED Donkey! I think that was Eddie Murphy's BEST role! Really? A Shrek musical? What's next? A Madagascar or Planet of the Apes musical?!?!? That actually happened in a Simpsons episode once.
