Comment: @TheMormonSorceress I will put those down on the list, although Land Before Time and Dinosaur is already in the plans.
@Lady Anime Fan Yep, sure do. I like pretty much everything about Ratatouille.
@Jon It probably is. It occurred to me that Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs might be closer too, considering the daddy issues and awkward main character and the food theme. Oh well.
@Andrew Entirely possible. There was something off about it, certainly. It's still a decent movie, but it probably could have been a lot better. Lol, thanks. I can only do it with the one eyebrow, but yes, I'm proud of my Dreamworks poster impression.

Comment: The only problem with Flushed Away IMHO is the pace being 20% faster than it needs to be. Also, I am jelly of your Dreamworks Face at the end; I cannot do that :D

Comment: Hey, isn't Bee Movie similiar to Ratatouille aswell? I know Ratatouille has rodents and Bee Movie has insects, but both of their plots are about a small animal going out to the human world and bond a relationship with a outcast human and decide to do something in human society. Also both films were released in the same year. Well thats at least how I see it. But anyway, great vid!

Comment: While Ratatouille isn't my favorite Pixar film, I still consider it a solid film. My favorite Pixar movie would be between Finding Nemo, The Incredibles (love Superhero movies), and Toy Story 3.
For a Reel vs. Reel, you should compare the 3 Toy Story films. Let's face it, it is considered the greatest triology in animation or just film in general. Try to compare and decide which Toy Story film truly was the best in your opinion.

Comment: @Mammalmage I have set aside Alpha and Omega to review separately in a different segment, but we'll see. If it makes for a better Reel vs Reel I might reconsider.

Comment: @isabel I rather like it too. It's one of the few DVDs I bought specifically for a review that is allowed a spot on my dvd shelf rather then in a bin and eventually ebay.
@Meg Thanks :) Well I would say rats and mice are probable my favorite animated animal characters between this and Rat's of Nimh and Flushed Away and the Great Mouse Detective and no doubt several others. I'm not sure Mickey gets away with PO'd, lol, I had a hard enough time finding it in the video.

Comment: Awesome review, Animated Heroine! Rats are actually some of my favorite animals, and I liked how "Ratatouille" made Remy cute and friendly rather than the normal portrayal of animated rats as either evil characters or ugly, mindless beasts. However, I've never seen "Flushed Away," but I just might check it out now. Ooh, "The Princess and the Frog" vs. "Tangled," can't wait! PS, is it just me, or is P.O.ed Mickey @17:09 INCREDIBLY cute?
