Comment: You did a fantastic job on this. But I am surprised you didn't make a few Russell Brand similarities regarding the new version of Peter Vincent.

Comment: Another fun episode. I love Fright Night for it’s balance between campiness and seriousness. Sequel was kinda weak, and I haven’t seen the remake yet. The art of the late night horror show is dwindling, but in my area, they still have some local channels that keep the tradition going.

Comment: @Kurvos I'm not homophobic at all. I guess the joke got misread. The original gave Jerry Dandridge a bodyguard who might or might not have been a lover of sorts, yet Jerry was still an intimidating bad guy. In fact, seeing that it was 1985, I'd say one could read too much into that one little scene of Jerry wrapping his arm around the guy. And the updated version made him a dangerous predator and loner, completely doing away with the ambiguous roommate. Nowadays, it seems automatic that people see "male roommate" and instantly judge, and so the filmmakers probably wanted to avoid it. So, I'm guessing that's why they got rid of that element. It was probably stupid of me to highlight that, but I was just making a comparison between the original and the new one. I didn't mean to offend.

Comment: So wait... you actually think it's wrong they have a subtle hint of the two main vampires in the first Fright Night to have a homosexual (technically making them bi) relationship with each other? Is that wrong to you, really? I am sorry, but... that just sounds really homophobic to me, and actually offends me.
