Comment: @Jaimetud Yeah, that's another example of an older episode going off the rails a bit. I do kinda like to treat something as if no one has ever heard of it before just to give a fresh perspective on it, but the idea of summarizing the story got a bit bigger than planned. If I had done the episode this year, I would've certainly cut that sumbitch down.

Comment: Now that I had time to watch it, here's what I think. It was a good episode. Not your best, although as usual I was very impressed. The retelling of A Christmas Carol was good, although I felt it was a distraction from the brunt of the episode. Other than that, I felt you did the movie justice. It was a very funny flick and it deserves better treatment on disc.

Comment: to David Rose, Say ever seen the Animated short version of a Christmas Carol from 1971 that Richard Williams and Chuck Jones worked on and won an Oscar for it?

Comment: @Morgan Thanks! Yeah, that animated sequence is just one of many examples of me attempting to do something brief but ultimately getting outta hand purely for the sake of including every little detail possible :)

Comment: I too am curious about the special edition that never came to release. Great review. Though, I'm not too sure about the retelling of A Christmas Carrol as it slowed the pace of the review. Maybe for another video, but a short summerization and look at the characters would have been fine, but it was ok. I hope someday we get a better edition of this underrated holiday favorite...then again, seeing how they heavily remastered it, I doubt it. Also, I highly recommended getting the newly released soundtrack La-La Land records sent out earlier this year. It makes a great campanion piece to your Blu Ray and its great to hear Elfman's score. Interestingly enough, I managed to use some of it in my review during the Christmas Carrol three parter I did. Either way, great job as always.

Comment: @Hewy - Thanks! @Jloves_pp - I think I already have an idea for my Christmas special this year, that is if everything falls into place. Nightmare Before Christmas is a must at some point, though.
