Comment: There was a reason why the King Kong encounter in Hollywood was replaced. It was burned in a fire that consumed the new york backlot in 2008.

Comment: When will you guys do The Last Temptation of Christ? That is a fantasy souly based on the fictional "what if" cinario as opposed to being based on the Bible..its also adapted from a book.

Comment: One movie that should be featured in the FMM collection should be "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". Love this movie and tons of behind the scenes secrets.

Comment: To Hewy: Is that little Kong a stop-mo prop? If so use it in animation, if you can't animate well (that would be ironic for you are Mr. Toonmore the Animated reviewer),just have a fried Friend do it. Although it probably is unlikely.

Comment: You know, this was a good episode in the Fantasy Movie Memories line up. Though I did see that they were making new stop-mo animation for the spider pit scene on a special edition DVD. Hey, I don't own that so it could be my altered insane madness of memories speaking. Although I was expecting someone to mention the Japanese King Kong films and the fight against Godzilla. But hey, I shouldn't worry about that I should worry about my country. I wish I lived in your world to not care about Radioactive King-Kongs.

Comment: Just wait until the radioactive king-kong attacks all of the US of A... do you know what I go through every day to calm that beast down, I have to go to the Tomb of King Arthur to contact Superman Creating a Paradox in order for that monster to sleep. At least your happily resting while I have to deal with it all in the 2nd Dimension. >(

Comment: King Kong truly is a legend of movie-making! I really enjoyed watching this episode, it really did feel like watching a DVD or tv documentary. As far as the remake go, I absolutely hated the 70's version(haven't seen King Kong Lives, not that I can get the motivation to watch it), but the Jackson remake actually has alot of potential. It's nice how we see more personality in some of the characters and the bond between Ann and Kong is a nice addition as well. The original film though will always be the best version though, with it's legendary special-effects, superb acting and ground-breaking sound and cinematography, all of which was still new to film-making at the time. The Dinosaurs were and remain one of my favorite parts of the film(which is one reason why I hate the remake because of their absence), and while they aren't entirely accurate are still really cool to look at. Later on, Dinosaurs were mostly portrayed in movies as giant lizards with sails and horns glued to their skin. They look nothing like dinosaurs. The best on-screen dinosaurs were the ones done by Ray-Harryhousen in One Million Years B.C. and The Valley of Gwangi. Movies are about escaping reality and excitment, and therefore I think a movie like King-Kong is much more capable of being considered the best film of all time than Citizen Kane(Which was a good film, but not one that I loved.). The original Godzilla(Gojira) will always be my favorite monster film, but King Kong is a worthy follow-up.
