Comment: NEWS FLASH - Flight of the Navigator is mentioned in the latest Disney Channel Original Movie, Geek Charming. "It's called time dilation, people. As Einstein theorized in the Twin Paradox, the passage of time is linked to the speed of the observer, meaning that traveling to and from the planet Phaelon 250 times the speed of light would virtually suspend aging." Whew!

Comment: I was born in Feburary of 1986 before this movie came into theaters. But I wouldn't see it until it was on The Wonderful World of Disney. I was quite blown away by it all - the spaceship, it's AI aka computer Max (man, Paul Reubens did a great job on the voice), and the music by Alan Silvertri won me over in an instant - making it number 2 of my top two favorite movies of that year, with Short Circuit being number 1. As for a remake, well, as long as they don't change to look and shape of Max and the spaceship I might be okay. Heck I wouldn't even mind of the part of the main character is changed to a female character (no offense to Joey Cramer's performance) but that's just me.

Comment: To Jen (TheITinFIT): I wound't count on seeing one in the future anytime soon. Or never happening for that matter. It doesn't make sense to have a commentary over a retrospective commentary. It just wouldn't work.

Comment: It astounds me how much work you put into this--all the research you do and the people you get! It's one thing to get Doug Walker, but an interview with the director? I'd love to hear a commentary on this because I want to know how you did it. Either you've got an extraordinary amount of luck or your reputation has spread. I look forward to any films you do in the future, and should you need an extra opinion, I'd be happy to lend a voice.

Comment: You guys really do a fantastic job on the episodes for this series. I watched this film for the first time last night and I really enjoyed it. Kids at school seem to think my love for obscure and retro movies is stupid, but I feel they really don't understand what makes classic movies so enjoyable compared to the new deal! I personally really hope that remake is never made! By the way do you guys have an episode for Labyrinth coming up?

Comment: How did you get Doug Walker on this show?I hope there would be an awesome season 4 crossover or some other TFIC.com and TGWTG crossover. And does Doug Walker watch videos on this site. But it was also cool you got the original director like you got your relative who worked on The Never-ending Story.

Comment: We didn't get to plug this during the show, but when I interviewed Randal, he said he was working on a project for your actors and filmmakers called "The Nina Foch Course." We were unable to mention it in the episode, but you can check it out here: http://www.ninafochproject.com/index.html It's a DVD series of acting courses from the late Nina Foch, Hollywood actress and acting professor for many. Check out the different familiar faces on the site and take a look at the video itself!
