Comment: The movie just scratched the surface of the book (btw, the author is called Ende, not End), but it was nevertheless great in it's own right. Sadly, the us-sequels made out of it exactly what the movie was warning for. Because the second part of the book never was understand by the makers of the second movie, they lost the second part of the message too: That you can't life in fantasia, but have to take part of it into the real life.

Comment: There is also going to be a "more faithful" adaptation of "Mrs Frisby and The Rats of N.I.M.H.". I could be hoping for it to be a good film, but... it will be CG. And God I hate CG. Except for some films and shows, I prefer it to be traditionally animated, or completely live action.
