Comment: I did watch the first Superman movie, the scene where Lois died were very sad, it shows that even though he had stop the disasters cause by the missile, he couldn't save Lois in time.

Comment: I think you should do some fantasy movie memeries on star wars, raiders of the lost ark,et,close ecounters, labrynth, and even some of the star trek movies.

Comment: I agree with all of you this movie was just so triumphant!!! These episodes get better and better. Good luck as the director of the future episodes Logan.
By the way, I agree that John Williams is probably the greatest film composer of all time, but I'm surprised nobody mentions Amistad which is a wonderful score.

Even in a fantasy world I need a certain among of logic. Although I perhaps wouldn't might the turn back time thing so much if not for one thing: If he can fly around the world that fast, why wasn't he able to fly fast enough to stop both rockets in the first place? I can easily handwave a lot in this movie (or, by extension, in the comics), but that's just too much.

Comment: @ Swanpride: I'm with you about Lois Lane. I didn't like her so much in the first film. However, I did like her more in the second film. And you're not alone about the "turning back time" thing, seeing that a lot of people have a nit pick about it. To me, since it's fantasy, I'm ok with it.

Comment: while I see the impact Superman had back then, I think it's a way overrated movie. It mostly substains itself from it's special effects, which didn't really age well. I really dislike the portrayal of Louis Lane. She is this cliche of a career woman who is utterly incompetent - nothing against having a character with faults, but she is a reporter who can't spell, who isn't diplomatic (how she ever gets an interview with anyone is beyond me) and who doesn't act like a professional in any scene of the movie (and is nothing more than a damsel in distress). And the voice over during the flying scene is just horrible cheesy.
But what really gets me is the giant plot hole at the end of the movie. Sorry, but circling the earth back to turn back time - makes no sense at all.
I agree that Christopher Reed does a great job and that the score is very memorable - but that's really the only thing I like about this movie. I often laugh at scene at which I know I shouldn't laugh - it's just so over the top, I have trouble to take it seriously.

Comment: Very nice review. Although my heart leans more towards Batman, I have great respect for Superman and for the impact that the character has made. I grew up with the movie, so I guess that says it all. Hopefully the reboots are good.

Comment: Despite Morgan leaving, this episode is still very good. Hopefully, the quality will hold up even longer. P.S. Glad to see Jordan again after months of absense. Here's hoping his comeback is soon.

Comment: I was introduced to Superman through Superman the Animated series (which I still love to this day). The only Superman movies I've seen are that awful 3rd one and Superman Returns (loved it)! Also they got it wrong-Lex is Bald! Also watched the Lois and Clark show in the 90's (which I don't necessarily care for today).

Comment: The Fleischer bros. theme is also very iconic.
