In the mean time, watch Toy Story 3, The Swan Princess, The Little Engine that could, Hoodwinked, anything that is better than this piece of crap. I noticed someone mentioned A Monster in Paris, do yourself a favor and watch it in French. I saw it in French and I would give it four and a half stars minimum.

Comment: Great review Hewy. For your next episode, you should make a top 10 worst animated film list. i would recommand tom and jerry the movie and most of the films directed by don bluth. I don't really hate Don Bluth but he made four terrible animated fims which are Rock-a-Doodle,Thumbelina,The Peeble and the Penguin, and A troll in central park. i really hate this four films but i still think don bluth is a great animation designer.

Comment: @411314: A hippie is a person who rejects societal norms and practices nonviolence, usually referring to the "Flower Power" followers of the 1960's (i.e. Woodstock). A beatnik is essentially the same thing but tends to express himself more artistically (kind of like the Groovenians). As to why it's wrong to be one, it's really not wrong (after all, America is a free country), but society generally frowns upon hippies and beatniks because they're different (big freaking surprise!)

Style over substance to the extreme, can't decide how serious it wants to be, and any attempt at subtext is dumbed down by the idiocy of the story and it's execution. Yeah, maybe you can't always have fun and do what you want, but they couldn't even make the normals seem normal. How seriously were kids supposed to take this? These two hip kids have adults who want to decide on their futures not because of any religious or societal norm, but because THEY CAN. And how does the Paul Reubens character not know about the king of the normals after having just LIVED WITH THEM? And If Groovenia is such an awesome place, why did that one guy in the beginning LEAVE?! All in all, you did a good number on this one. It deserved it.

I can understand if he wants to incorporate his style of art in this, but for god sake, get some decent writers, get some animators who's previous work is NOT from the animatronics at Chucky Cheese. Comment: Now I remember this! Actually it was on Adult Swim, due to something I guess. But after watching this, I can see the reason why. The Groovenians would give kids seizures or at the very least confuse them. God sakes I have to say Peewee said better than anyone else here. Something tells me this guy made the pilot is made from crack. Some of the songs could be on South Jersey Sam's worst songs list. And it's a mix between bad sitcom and cartoon. Wheately and GLADOs from Portal can sing better than Norman. Sorry you had to sit through the piece of dog crap, no one should sit through it, it was painful watching the dumb thing at night let alone in the day. -hugs-
