Comment: Seriously, am I the only one who gets this feeling the only reason people hate on the songs from T&J is because of their hatred towards the movie? I dunno, I've seen people have this sort of view where they base their thoughts of the songs in a movie off of what they think of the movie plenty of times before, like 'Home on the Range sucks therefore I HAVE to hate Alan Menken's music no matter HOW catchy or authentic/not fake to the setting it is!' For instance, people only hate Friends to the End because of what it did. (Okay, maybe the lyrics are kinda lame too) But from a melody stand-point, it's pretty damn catchy. I've Done it All actually has wit to its lyrics and a great Broadway-esque melody and yet people hate on it simply because 'Let's see how many pedophile jokes I can cram into my rant on it, dur-hur-hur'. Also, yeah, that song the girl sings is really beautiful and yet everybody ignores it just because the Nostalgia Critic didn't talk about it in his review of the film! I'd even go so far as to accuse Sam of this mindset if it weren't for the fact that he did put songs from movies he likes on the list too.

As for the songs in "Rock-a-Doodle," that's kind of the same problem with the songs in "Rio": All of the songs are either cut, interrupted, or covered up with dialog, while the only song/songs weren't ruined is the villain song, and the villain song is awful. And the only way you can hear the full versions of the good/decent songs are on the sound-track.

Comment: @Weirdproq- As an adaptation, I don't like the film, but I do like it to a degree as a stand-alone. The only songs in the film I don't like are "Money is Such a Beautiful Word" (Seriously, it's just so... bland!) and "What do I Care?" (Slightly catchier, but still nothing special) That said, though, the other songs, even those with poorly-contrived lyrics I do find very catchy. Make as many sexual jokes as you want about "I've Done it All", it's a really upbeat/catchy song and you know it!
