Comment: while do like MLP I think people are overemphasizing on how good it is, don't get me wrong, it's a great show, but the problem i have with it are the morals, morals in kid's shows almost always annoy me (unless they're the science-type ones, like in Curious George), and it doesn't really handle it in a very original way, unlike say... Arthur (wich is a little better than MLP, in my opinion)

PS, the reasons I personally love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are: 1. the characters are interesting and three-dimensional, 2. the writing is brilliant and funny, 3. the songs are incredibly catchy, 4. the animation is wonderful, and 5. they actually have some of the most intimidating villains of any animated TV show (namely Nightmare Moon and Discord).

Comment: Oh, thank god, I don't have to regret missing the live stream. As for MLP, it's written on the level of a Disney film and respects its audience, which is more than can be said for most little kid's shows these days. That's why people like it. (That and the songs are worthy of cinema... save for the theme song which despite the upgrade I still don't like)
