Comment: I’ve always loved the Ernest movies, regardless of how corny people thought they were. They reminded me of happiness and what it was like to be a kid. I thought this movie was scary as a child but as an adult, it’s quite funny to watch the acting and the plot of the movie get carried out. I wouldn’t mind watching this for Halloween with my nephew and the good thing is that it’s available to rent at Blockbuster! I actually use the Blockbuster Movie Pass with my DISH Network employee account and I have access to thousands of titles with the bonus of having additional channels. The good thing is that new and existing DISH Network customers can also check it out for no additional cost!

Comment: I really hope I don't offend Ernest fans, but I just have to bring it out in the open. I HATE THESE ERNEST MOVIES. They're fine for younger viewers, but I can't stand them. The plots are uninspired, the humor is weak, and Ernest himself is one of the most obnoxious characters in a movie ever (nowhere near as annoying as Jar Jar Binx or Willie from The Temple of Doom but pretty close). Now I don't mean to rant on Jim Varney; I think he's a decent actor when he has good material and a good director (Toy Story 1 & 2 for example). But in these movies (and in Ernest Scared Stupid especially) his direction and the way the character is written is very unappealing. I don't mean to sound snobby, but in comparison to other great comedies like The Princess Bride, Tootsie, and Duck Soup they just fail. All I have to say now is that I hope Gene Siskel, Roger Ebert, and I aren't the only three that believe these movies are complete insults to comedy.

Comment: Great show. Don't worry, I among many won't bother you with any of the other Ernest movies. As far as I'm concerned, this was the last of the good ones.

Comment: Hey Morgan. I know you said you don't take ideas from fans. But since That Fellow In The Coat.com's anniversary is coming up pretty soon. So, maybe the next Fantasy Movie Memories video should be the celebration for site.

Comment: I have a confession to make. When I first saw this movie, I actually ran out of the theater. My dad had to keep me company while my sisters finished it. I didn't see the whole thing til years later.

Comment: "'Ernest Scared Stupid' is a movie you should forget"; Yeah, especially that one sceane where Ernest kissed the trolls' slimey mouth.*vomits* By the way, it might be just me, but the poster for the movie looks like a Goosbumps' cover.

Comment: I never liked "Ernest Scared Stupid" that much. Not just because of its stupidity, but it is just too damn creepy. Something about the concept of the troll turning kids into wooden dolls kind of disturbs me. I do agree, though. The first three are at least tolerable. My favorite is "Ernest Goes to Jail".
