Comment: I too have a movie that I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns, and that is a fucked up Japanese movie called Ichi the Killer directed by Takashi Miike. Seriously that movie doesn't deserve any recognition or anything. Sure it's on a completely different plain of badness than this movie, with its total lack of consideration for the audience with its constant infliction of over the top and unnecessary scenes of violence, sex, and gore. And its horrific misogynistic treatment of women. Again this really has nothing to do with this movie, at all, but I guess what I am saying is that we all have that one movie that we just....HATE....And what Mars Needs Moms is to you, Ichi the Killer is to me.
And basically just think of this way, there is always going to be a movie worse than what you think is the worse. But then again it's all based on subjectivity. Seriously there is a reviewer online named Confused Matthew who believes No Country for Old Men is the worst movie he's ever seen and in general. Again its all about preference and subjectivity.

Comment: Didn't want to see this when it came out, and I most certainly didn't want to check it out when Netflix got it on instant viewing. Now I don't need to watch it at all because I can see how cliche and messed up this movie is. Sorry you had to waste part of your life watching this crap-fest but thanks for making it unnecessary for us to watch it your entertaining review.

Comment: I actually would MST3K this movie if I was given the chance. I love Robert Z's work from all the BTTF movies to the polar express and I'm looking forward to Flight myself. But this one movie made me think how good older movies are even the bad ones. Though luckly for me I was spared from watching this in it's entirety. How ever this movie is still bad.

Comment: @Morgan Understood and respected. And... yeah, this movie seems really awful. I've been thinking it might not be so bad, but... now after your review, I can really see what a piece of shit it is.

Comment: Look... you're a decent reviewer, dude. But... for the love of god, stop overacting this much. You're making Nostalgia Critic look subtle. And when he is overacting/overreacting, it's usually funny. But when you do it, it actually kinda disturbs me. Firstly because you do that really creepy twitching, and secondly because your rage is dragged out FAR too long.
Please take this into consideration in your future reviews. I am not trying to be rude or anything like that. I am just saying this because I like to see your reviews and point of views - and this way of acting makes it a bit too hard for me to sit through sometimes... but, I force myself to anyway, because I want to see it all through. I kinda feel bad watching you getting mad in these videos, even if it's intended to be funny... because honestly, you're frustrating me when you do it the way you do. I get a headache.
In short - I think you're trying too hard. Sorry if you feel offended by me saying this, but I feel like I need to explain how I feel.

Comment: I feel your pain, Morgan. Even though I never saw the film (and I NEVER shall), the trailers clearly showed the movie is a piece of rubbish. And for the 'dark' element of losing a mother, I've seen it done better in Kung Fu Panda 2. And that line of Milo's... My word, that was the most unforgiving scene I have ever seen and Animat was right!

Comment: Nice job. Thank you for bashing an insult to all of us who express the art of storytelling; whether it's though speach, acting, art, writing, film, an internet show, whatever. The world needs more original, interesting movies; not piles of random cliches that are barffed up onto a silver screen and called a movie. I'm sad to see this was actually made into a film, and I'm glad you gave it the bashing it deserved (and thank you for your rant on the dark plot element and how porly it was handled, it was reall nice). By the way, the ending was super sweet! It brought a smile to my face :)

Comment: It's okay.. We've all seen movies that make us ant to tear our hair out, feed it to a cockroach then burn it and pour the ashes into the sea.. The most we can do is sit down with our favorite movie afterwards and let it heal our eyes and minds. *Went to go watch the Dark Crystal*

P.S. I'm a bit surprised you didn't play "shot through the heart when Milo trash talked his mom.

Comment: ....and I thought The Polar Express exceeded uncanny valley. I think this film looks worse and even more uncanny than the Polar Express ever did. The characters in Mars Needs Moms look just lifeless, which is no excuse in 2011.
