The Flintstones
With the Filmbuff still missing from his

Comment: to morgan:you are absoutly right.it was like the simpsons of it's time.the original series was for adults but kids could watch it to. but might not get some jokes, that's why it was in primetime.

Comment: To Jordan: I think the perferred question is how worried I am about it. I gave it a fair review, had my opinions, and judging by the fuel present on the TGWTG forums, they want him to bash it. As I said, it's not the ultimate perfect adaptaion, but they tried and didn't fail. Maybe a tad with the casting and plot, but somewhere in the mess, they succeded. The Flintstones was meant to be for adults when it first aired, so I can live with the "mature" plot and it conflicts with the friendship between Fred and Barney, so in a way, it works on one level, but on another scale, it does have some problems. Am I worry that a NC fan will come across, see this review and bash me for my opinons. No, we are entitled to our opinon here. If it was a troll, that's a different story...

Comment: I hope you do review that Flintstones prequel; some fans and critics are mixed with that movie when compared to the first movie. Some of them think that Mark Addy, Stephen Baldwin, and (especially) Jane Krakowski performed better than Goodman, Moranis and O'Donnell. P.S., If you DO plan on reviewing that movie, something you should know that they changed Betty's maiden name in "Viva Rock Vegas" to "Betty 0'Shale", as opposed to "McBricker" in the original series.
Thanks!
